We had some amazing times in Bangkok. It was the perfect blend of vacation and show action. The Comedy Club Bangkok has only been open since September and they really nail it. Their space holds 120 people who are hungry for comedy. Ron Josol, Chris W., Natty and 2 local comics delivered an awesome show filled with excitement and hilarity. We even had a 10 year old boy in the audience, with parents of course. We all didn't even censor ourselves. I suspect he understood it all. (including many dirty references... Kids these days!)
That night, we also ran into a great dude named Oliver, while we were walking to the venue. He was such a great person, kind and funny, so we invited him to come check out the show. Super nice to meet strangers who are open and happy to check out something random. That's why I love travelling, it keeps everyone on their toes! Hope he comes to visit us in HK or Toronto.
After the show, Drew took us out to see some weird awesome Bangkok sights(some details have been omitted to protect those involved). My favourite was this noodle house that we ordered as much food as we could(twice) and it cost us 10 bucks TOTAL! Just crazy to see what Thailand had to offer afterdark...
"So everyone in here is male?
Yes... Everyone.
Hey, wait where did ------ go?
Uh oh, did he hear you?...
If you're gonna go home with a dude, he better be a 10.
Silence...(Random thai music in background)
Well, let's go get some noodles."

The next day, me and Jen got to check out the JJ market and ended up going out to dinner with Chris , Natty and Ron in Arab town. Enjoyed some shisha(been so long got mad headrush), walked down Bladerunner backalleys and ended up in one of the coolest bars ever. There's a family of ladies(actually ladies) who have 3 generations of performers that really put together a great show. The bar also splits half the profits with staff. Chris got an honourable mention and free drinks because he does shows there all the time. Thanks for the great night dude!
Special shoutout to Ron Josol for putting out such positive, helpful words that really inspire me to keep being the best performer I can be. Now it makes sense why he's touring all year, everyone just wants to hang more with him!
All and all the experience was incredible and I can't wait to get back to Bangkok to do more shows! It was one of my best sets I've ever had, where I really felt I was able to truly be myself. I recorded it, so hopefully it edits well and I can share that footage. Thanks again to everyone and all the highfives via Facebook. Your support is always appreciated!
